Project Overview
- Location: Nunn, CO
- Service Type: Residential Roof Replacement + New Siding + New Windows + New Gutters + New Vents
- Total Project Cost: $94,167.00
- Scope: Complete storm damage restoration for a residential property, including a main house, barn, and two detached garages. The project involved a full tear-off and replacement of multiple roof systems (asphalt shingle and metal), new metal siding for the entire house, new gutters, and window replacements
Challenges & Solutions
The Challenge:This Nunn property suffered extensive storm damage across four separate buildings, each with unique material and structural needs. The project required a comprehensive, multi-trade solution to address roofing, siding, gutters, and windows across the entire property. A key challenge was managing a complex insurance claim with Travelers to ensure all damage was accurately documented and covered, restoring the property to code while simplifying the process for the homeowner.
The Solution: Schroeder Roofing provided end-to-end project management, working directly with the insurance company to handle all approved work for the homeowner’s $1,000 deductible. For the main house, we performed a full roof replacement, upgrading the homeowner for free to a premium Owens Corning Class 4 impact-resistant shingle system to protect against future storms. We also installed new metal siding on the entire house, new fascia, and new gutters. The barn and two detached garages received new metal roofing and siding as needed, ensuring every structure was fully restored and code-compliant.
